The founder of Applied Companies (now Ironstate) which has complete major projects on the waterfront for over 30 years. He specialized in both affordable, subsidized housing by rehabilitation the Hoboken tenements and new, modern buildings on the waterfront. He bought the shuttered Bethlehem Steel Shipyard in 1991 having its entire area of upland and water declared a Planned Unit Development which included all the building now existing from 11th Street to 15th Street and Hudson Street to Frank Sinatra Drive and the plan for the Marina, as well as the Ferry Pier and Pier 13.

The original Marina was badly damaged in Hurricane Sandy and Mr.. Barry is proceeding to rebuild it.

General Manager

The mission is to offer the community a robust water recretion hub where skills can be mastered. Every time a person in our community connects with the Hudson River, we are succeeding.

Chief of Marine Facilities

Yasmin works the details of the General Manager improvement projects with contractors and service people.

She is particularly responsible for the improvement of Pier 12 which will be a teaching platform with classrooms and gathering place for sailors and sailing students. She also coordinates night time security with the security manager and the security people at the Shipyard Marina

Director of Sailing

Max enjoys a fast boat with plenty of wind and intends to share this passion. He is instrumental in the youth and adult sailing programming that is accelerating the learning by our aspiring sailors.

Director of Charter Boat Operations

Taking his passion for fishing and sharing it with community is what gets Adam excited. He does everything in his power to catch the fish and share his knowledge with others.
