The Hoboken Sailing School
Located along the Northeast Hoboken Waterfront, the Sailing School is accelerating the development of skills for sailors of all ages and abilities. The heart of the school is the diverse fleet of 14 sailboats that live on the docks of the Shipyard Marina. The flagships are our 26-foot, full keel, J80 performance sailboats which have proven exceptional for teaching in New York Harbor. The Sailing School students can join the Sailing Club which offers unlimited access to our fleet of boats and our private Pier 12. The mission of the school is to encourage and celebrate the responsible use and long-term stewardship of the Hudson River by fostering educational and recreational opportunities for all members of our community.
